About
I'm a creative, methodical and versatile Producer with experience on a range of factual programming for major broadcasters, including features, arts, history, action/adventure sports, science and current affairs.
Working as a Producer/Director and Shooter/Editor for the last 10 years I’ve been making programmes for the BBC, Channel 4, the History Channel, SBS as well as online content for Boombox, Red Bee Media, Greenpeace and Hyundai.
I have extensive experience of working on location all around the UK/French and Swiss Alps/Australia with both talent and contributors, as well as working in a live capacity or, setting up international filming.
I have experience with both sound (boom, radio mics) and self-shooting (C300, XF305 and the FS7 for broadcast) and am able/willing to travel and work on location abroad.
Passionate about capturing real life, I work closely with people to tell their own stories. I have built up an innovative bill of work on factual and entertainment led branded content, promos and commercials too.
Before becoming a Documentary Director, I worked as a freelance Event Producer/Manager for ten years. Running London's arts festival, Stoke Fest. I have experience managing budgets, live programming and production for Glastonbury, BBC, Orange, the Guardian, Jaipur's International Literature Festival, Melbourne's International Arts Festival, Melbourne's Film Festival, Sheffield Docfest, the Guardian, Womad, Greenpeace, Historic Royal Palaces, the Generating Company, Microsoft and London's Barbican.
